Our History
Bawtry Sawdust Co. Ltd is a highly reputed family run business, founded over 60 years ago by Mr Aubrey Talbot. Shortly after World War II, Aubrey sold logs & moved timber for sawmills, realised they were having an issue getting rid of the shavings - so saw a business idea! The rest is history. Knowing the various uses & requirements for sawdust & wood shavings, he soon formed a client base where the demand grew rapidly.
Family run business
Post retirement, Aubrey passed the business to his son, Ian Talbot who then encouraged his sons Christopher & Nicholas Talbot to take on the family business. Their dedication & loyalty to the industry secured a prosperous future for Bawtry Sawdust Co. Ltd.
Reliable supply
Customers from construction to the agricultural trades, both retailers & domestic customers have been relying on us for the supply of sawdust, for over 6 decades. Having started with a single lorry, Bawtry Sawdust Co. Ltd now has an admirable fleet of vehicles.

Bawtry Sawdust has been providing products and services to businesses for almost 6 decades. Our reputation is one we have earned and stand behind every day. We provide an honest and exceptional level of service; fast, friendly and reliable.

Delivery from large lorries to small vans (can collect from depot). We have licensed registered waste carriers. We also do small deliveries in small vans eg. Petshops / Small Farm / Stables / Equestrian Centres / Small Holdings / We have articulated curtain sider to and small trailer to for small farms.
